Who we are
Licence Ready is responsible for personal information collected through this website and our direct business relationship with you. You can contact us through the contact page.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, business contact details, organisation, enquiry details and records of our communications. If you use the website assistant, we may retain your questions, the assistant’s responses, your selected visitor route and whether you requested email or telephone contact.
If you use the Licence Ready service, we may also process account, identity, licence, qualification, competence, work-history, project and payment information needed to provide that service. Do not send passwords, DBS certificates or sensitive identity documents through the public contact form or website assistant.
How and why we use it
We use personal information to answer questions, understand what prospective customers need, respond to enquiries, arrange requested calls, improve our guidance, create and administer accounts, verify information, provide requested services, manage subscriptions, prevent misuse, keep appropriate records and comply with legal obligations.
Our lawful bases may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with law, our legitimate interests in running and protecting the service, and consent where the law requires it.
Sharing information
We share information only where needed with service providers supporting hosting, communications, payments, verification and platform delivery, with participating organisations where you direct or authorise sharing, and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, to maintain appropriate evidence and records, or to meet legal, tax and dispute requirements. We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, obtain portable data, withdraw consent and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us through the contact page to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity first.
International transfers and changes
Where a provider processes information outside the UK, we use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism. We may update this notice when our services or legal duties change. The date above shows the latest revision.
